Yuval Noah Harari is an Israeli historian and philosopher whose work examines the development of human societies, the relationship between biology and culture, and the future impact of technology and artificial intelligence. He earned a doctorate in history from the University of Oxford and teaches at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His major works include the academic monographs Renaissance Military Memoirs, Special Operations in the Age of Chivalry, and The Ultimate Experience, followed by the internationally bestselling books Sapiens, Homo Deus, 21 Lessons for the 21st Century, and Nexus. He has also written the Sapiens: A Graphic History series and the children's nonfiction series Unstoppable Us.

Yuval Noah Harari is an Israeli historian, philosopher, and public intellectual known for explaining large-scale questions about human history, society, technology, and artificial intelligence.
He earned a PhD in history from the University of Oxford in 2002 and is an associate professor in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem’s Department of History. His early academic specialization included world, medieval, and military history.

His husband is Itzik Yahav, with whom Harari co-founded the social-impact company Sapienship in 2019.
