Primo Levi Books in Order

Primo Levi (1919–1987) was an Italian Jewish chemist and writer from Turin. Deported to Auschwitz in 1944, he transformed his experience of imprisonment, survival, and return into a major body of memoir, fiction, poetry, essays, and reflections on science and ethics. His principal works include If This Is a Man, The Truce, The Periodic Table, The Wrench, If Not Now, When?, and The Drowned and the Saved.
