Olena Bormashenko Books in Order

Olena Bormashenko is a mathematician and literary translator. She earned a PhD in mathematics from Stanford University in 2011 under the supervision of Persi Diaconis. Her dissertation studies mixing times for random walks on permutations with interval restrictions. She later worked as a mathematics lecturer at the University of Texas at Austin and became known for translating works by Arkady and Boris Strugatsky, including Roadside Picnic. Those translations are excluded here because she was credited as translator rather than author.
