Michael Crouch was an Australian writer and former British colonial administrator. He served in the Aden Political Service from 1958 to 1967, becoming the last Resident in the Eastern Aden Protectorate, then settled in Western Australia and worked in commerce, heavy industry, management training, teaching, environmental management, and writing. His books include a colonial memoir, a novel, a commissioned biography, and a critical literary biography.
