Max Gladstone is a New York Times bestselling author and occasional game designer. His work includes the Craft Sequence and Craft Wars fantasy novels, Empress of Forever, Last Exit, and This Is How You Lose the Time War, co-written with Amal El-Mohtar. He created the serial fiction series Bookburners and co-created The Witch Who Came in from the Cold.
