Lucy Foley studied English literature at Durham University and University College London. She worked as a fiction editor before becoming a full-time novelist. Her career began with historical fiction, including The Book of Lost and Found, The Invitation, and Last Letter from Istanbul, before turning to contemporary mystery thrillers such as The Hunting Party, The Guest List, The Paris Apartment, and The Midnight Feast. She is also the co-author of the forthcoming Miss Marple mystery Murder at the Grand Alpine Hotel.
