Leo Tolstoy
Count Lev Nikolayevich Tolstoy was a Russian writer whose novels, short fiction, essays, and philosophical works explore war, family life, faith, morality, and social responsibility. After a spiritual crisis in the 1870s, he became an influential advocate of nonviolent resistance and Christian ethics.
