Yoon Ha Lee is a Korean-American science fiction and fantasy author whose work spans military science fiction, silkpunk fantasy, Korean-mythology space opera, young adult mecha fiction, flash fairy tales, nonfiction writing advice, and comics. Lee is the author of the Machineries of Empire novels, the Thousand Worlds middle-grade series, the Moonstorm young adult series, Phoenix Extravagant, and several short-fiction collections. Lee has also co-written The Vela and written Marvel's Doom's Division.
