Wendy MacNaughton is an American artist, graphic journalist, illustrator, and educator based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her work uses drawing and close observation to document overlooked people, communities, and experiences. She is the author-illustrator of Meanwhile in San Francisco and How to Say Goodbye, and has co-authored and co-created books including Pen & Ink, Knives & Ink, and Leave Me Alone with the Recipes. She has also illustrated numerous books, including Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat and The Gutsy Girl.
