Waubgeshig Rice is an Anishinaabe and Canadian author and journalist originally from Wasauksing First Nation on Georgian Bay, Ontario. His fiction includes the novels Legacy, Moon of the Crusted Snow, and Moon of the Turning Leaves, as well as the short-story collection Midnight Sweatlodge. He has also written nonfiction books about Anishinaabe hand-drumming and comedian Don Burnstick.
