Viet Thanh Nguyen Books in Order

Viet Thanh Nguyen was born in Vietnam and came to the United States as a refugee in 1975. He is a University Professor at the University of Southern California, where he teaches English, American studies and ethnicity, and comparative literature. His fiction, nonfiction, memoir, and scholarship explore war, memory, race, displacement, and Vietnamese American identity. His novel The Sympathizer won the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction; he is also a MacArthur Fellow and Guggenheim Fellow.
