Terry Brooks Books in Order
Terry Brooks is an American fantasy author born in Illinois in 1944. He studied English literature at Hamilton College and law at Washington and Lee University before becoming a full-time writer. His career began with The Sword of Shannara in 1977, followed by extensive work in the Shannara universe, the Magic Kingdom of Landover series, the Word and Void trilogy, and the Viridian Deep trilogy. He also wrote the novelizations Hook and Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, the memoir and writing guide Sometimes the Magic Works, a fantasy reference book, short fiction, and a graphic novel.
