Susan Cooper Books in Order

Susan Cooper is an English-born American author whose work spans children's and young adult fantasy, historical fiction, science fiction, picture books, biography, literary essays, poetry, and drama. Her five-book The Dark Is Rising sequence is her best-known work and includes The Grey King, winner of the Newbery Medal. She has also written adult nonfiction, children's picture books, the Boggart trilogy, the stage play Foxfire with Hume Cronyn, and biographies of J. B. Priestley and John Langstaff.
