Shaun Whiteside is a Northern Irish literary translator and editor. He translates from French, Dutch, German, and Italian, and has translated numerous novels and works of nonfiction. His translation of Lilian Faschinger's Magdalene the Sinner won the Schlegel-Tieck Prize for German Translation.
