Rosemary Ashton Books in Order

Rosemary Ashton is an emeritus Quain Professor of English Language and Literature at University College London and a Fellow of the British Academy. Her scholarship focuses on nineteenth-century literature, intellectual and cultural history, Anglo-German relations, radical publishing, and figures including George Eliot, G. H. Lewes, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Charles Dickens, and the Carlyles. She is also known for her studies of Victorian London and Bloomsbury.
