Ros Ballaster Books in Order

Ros Ballaster is Professor of Eighteenth-Century Studies at the University of Oxford and a Professorial Fellow in English at Mansfield College. Her scholarship examines narrative, performance, feminist theory, cognition, women's writing, and the development of the eighteenth-century novel. She is the author of three monographs—Seductive Forms, Fabulous Orients, and Fictions of Presence—and has edited works by Delarivier Manley and Jane Austen, as well as collections and scholarly volumes. She was elected a Fellow of the British Academy in 2025.
