Rivers Solomon is an American writer of speculative and literary fiction. They graduated from Stanford University with a degree in comparative studies in race and ethnicity and earned an MFA in fiction from the Michener Center for Writers at the University of Texas at Austin. Solomon's fiction frequently combines science-fiction, Afrofuturist, gothic, and horror elements with examinations of structural racism, slavery and diaspora, gender, disability, neurodivergence, family, and collective memory. They live in the United Kingdom.
