Rachel Smythe is a New Zealand comic artist and writer, and the creator of Lore Olympus, a contemporary retelling of the Greek myth of Hades and Persephone. The series debuted on WEBTOON in 2018 and has received Eisner, Harvey, and Ringo Awards, as well as Hugo and Alex Award recognition. Smythe lives in New Zealand.
