Peter Wohlleben (born 1964) is a German forester, author, and nature-conservation advocate. After more than two decades in public forestry, he left government service and established an ecologically managed forest enterprise in the Eifel. His books combine forestry experience, popular science, nature writing, and environmental advocacy, and include works for both adults and children.
