P. Craig Russell (born 1951) is an American comics artist, writer, and adapter. After early Marvel work on Doctor Strange and Killraven, he developed a distinctive body of literary and musical adaptations, including works based on Wagner, Mozart, Strauss, Wilde, Kipling, and Gaiman. His major projects include Fairy Tales of Oscar Wilde, Elric: Stormbringer, The Ring of the Nibelung, Coraline, The Sandman: The Dream Hunters, The Graveyard Book, American Gods, and Norse Mythology. He has received multiple Eisner Awards for his writing, adaptation, and art.
