Nicole Galland writes across historical fiction, Shakespearean retellings, contemporary romantic comedy, and speculative fiction. Her historical novels include The Fool's Tale, Revenge of the Rose, Crossed, I, Iago, Godiva, and Boy. She co-authored The Rise and Fall of D.O.D.O. with Neal Stephenson, co-authored The Mongoliad trilogy with a collective of writers, and wrote Siege Perilous under the pen name E. D. deBirmingham. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from University College Dublin and has worked as a stage director and dramaturg.
