Michiko Aoyama Books in Order
Michiko Aoyama is a Japanese novelist born in 1970 in Aichi Prefecture. After working as a newspaper journalist in Sydney, she became a magazine editor before turning to fiction. Her debut, Thursday Cocoa, won the first Miyazaki Book Award. Her novels frequently connect ordinary lives through recurring places, objects, and characters, and include What You Are Looking for Is in the Library, Red and Blue and an Esquisse, The Moonlit Forest, Recovery Kabahiko, and The Mermaid Ran Away.
