Kylie Lee Baker grew up in Boston and has lived in Atlanta, Salamanca, and Seoul. Her writing draws on her Chinese, Japanese, and Irish heritage and her experiences abroad. She holds a BA in creative writing and Spanish from Emory University and an MS in library and information science from Simmons University. Her work includes the Keeper of Night and Scarlet Alchemist young adult fantasy duologies, as well as adult horror novels. She has won a Shirley Jackson Award and received an APALA Adult Fiction Honor.
