Kate Moore is a British writer based near Cambridge who studied English Literature at the University of Warwick and worked as a nonfiction editor and editorial director at Penguin Random House UK. She became a freelance author, editor, and ghostwriter in 2014. Her best-known book, The Radium Girls, is a New York Times and USA Today bestseller and won the Goodreads Choice Award for Best History. She writes narrative nonfiction about overlooked lives and social injustice, as well as memoirs, children's books, true crime, and gift books.
