John Ajvide Lindqvist Books in Order

John Ajvide Lindqvist was born in 1968 and grew up in Blackeberg, Stockholm. After working as a magician and stand-up comedian, he made his literary debut with Låt den rätte komma in in 2004. His writing combines horror, speculative elements, social realism, dark humor, and literary character study. He has written novels, novellas, short-story collections, plays, children's books, essays, and screenplays, and his work has been translated into more than twenty-five territories. He has received major Swedish literary and genre awards, including the Selma Lagerlöf Literary Prize and the Göteborgs-Posten Literary Award.
