Joël Dicker (born 1985 in Geneva, Switzerland) is a Swiss French-language novelist. He published the novella Le Tigre in 2005 and his first novel, Les Derniers Jours de nos pères, in 2010. His international breakthrough was La Vérité sur l'affaire Harry Quebert, followed by novels including Le Livre des Baltimore, La Disparition de Stephanie Mailer, L'Énigme de la chambre 622, L'Affaire Alaska Sanders, Un animal sauvage, and La Très Catastrophique Visite du Zoo. He founded the publishing house Rosie & Wolfe.
