J.H. Williams III, born James H. Williams III in 1965, is an American comics creator whose work spans superhero, fantasy, science-fiction, and horror comics. He is known for his distinctive page design, mixed-media visual storytelling, and work on Promethea, Batwoman, The Sandman: Overture, and Echolands. His authored and co-authored books include the Batwoman graphic-novel collections co-written with W. Haden Blackman, the creator-owned Echolands collaboration with Blackman, and Dracula: A Storybook Portfolio, which he wrote and illustrated.
