Jennifer E. Smith is an American bestselling author of young adult, adult, and children's fiction. Her novels include The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight, Hello, Goodbye, and Everything in Between, Windfall, Field Notes on Love, The Unsinkable Greta James, and Fun for the Whole Family. She has also written the middle-grade fantasy The Storm Makers and the picture books The Creature of Habit, The Creature of Habit Tries His Best, and A Cure for the Hiccups. She earned a master's degree in creative writing from the University of St Andrews in Scotland. Her work has been translated into more than thirty languages, and The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight and Hello, Goodbye, and Everything in Between have been adapted for film. She lives in Los Angeles.
