Jasper Fforde is a British novelist who spent two decades working in the film industry before publishing The Eyre Affair in 2001. His fiction combines comedy, speculative premises, literary parody, mystery, satire, and elaborate wordplay across the Thursday Next, Nursery Crime, Chronicles of Kazam, and Shades of Grey series, as well as the standalone novels Early Riser and The Constant Rabbit. He lives and works in Wales.
