Iain Banks Books in Order

Iain Menzies Banks was a Scottish novelist whose career began with The Wasp Factory in 1984. He published literary and mainstream fiction as Iain Banks and science fiction as Iain M. Banks, though the two names represented a marketing distinction rather than separate creative identities. His work ranges across literary fiction, science fiction, horror, nonfiction, memoir, short fiction, poetry and graphic work. His final novel was The Quarry (2013); posthumous publications include Poems, co-written with Ken MacLeod, and The Culture: The Drawings.
