Guy Gavriel Kay Books in Order

Guy Gavriel Kay is a Canadian novelist and poet whose fiction ranges from portal fantasy to historically inspired secondary-world novels. He is the author of sixteen novels, including The Fionavar Tapestry, Tigana, The Sarantine Mosaic, Under Heaven, River of Stars, and the novels of the later Mediterranean-inspired sequence. He also published the poetry collection Beyond This Dark House. Before beginning his fiction career, Kay assisted Christopher Tolkien with the editorial preparation of The Silmarillion and worked as a writer and producer for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's Scales of Justice. His honors include the World Fantasy Award for Ysabel and appointment to the Order of Canada.
