Gary Chalk Books in Order
Gary Chalk (born 1952) is an English illustrator and model-maker from Hertfordshire. After studying design and teaching art and design, he became a freelance illustrator and developed a major career in children's publishing, fantasy gaming, and gamebook art. He is widely known for illustrating the early Lone Wolf gamebooks and Redwall novels, designing or illustrating games including Cry Havoc, Battlecars, Starship Captain, Talisman, and Fantasy Warlord, and writing or co-writing books including Tales of Ancient China, Yankee Doodle, Hide & Seek in History, The Forebears, and the Prince of Shadows gamebooks.
