Frances Hardinge Books in Order
Frances Hardinge studied English at the University of Oxford and began her publishing career with Fly by Night, which won the 2006 Branford Boase First Novel Award. Her fiction blends fantasy, historical settings, folklore, horror, and coming-of-age themes. The Lie Tree won the 2015 Costa Book of the Year, making Hardinge one of the few children's or young adult authors to receive the award. She was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature in 2018.
