Fernanda Sampaio de Lacerda Abreu is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, dancer, and occasional author from Rio de Janeiro. She began her musical career as a backing vocalist for Blitz before launching her solo career in 1990. Her work combines dance-pop, funk carioca, samba, hip hop, soul, MPB, and electronic music, with a strong focus on Rio de Janeiro and Brazilian urban culture. In 2009 she published her first children's book, Meu Pequeno Vascaíno.
