Erich Fromm Books in Order
Erich Fromm was a German-American psychoanalyst and social psychologist whose humanistic theory integrated psychoanalysis, Marxist social analysis, ethics, religion, and political critique. Associated early with the Frankfurt Institute for Social Research, he later emigrated to the United States and worked in Mexico and Switzerland. His books examined freedom, alienation, love, destructiveness, human character, technology, and the possibilities of a humane society.
