Emily Dickinson Books in Order

Emily Dickinson (1830–1886) was an American poet from Amherst, Massachusetts. She wrote nearly 1,800 poems and numerous letters, preserving most of them in handwritten fascicles and loosely bound manuscripts. Only a small number of poems appeared during her lifetime; her major publications began posthumously in 1890. Later editorial projects progressively published previously unavailable poems, letters, and manuscript materials while restoring more of Dickinson's original wording, punctuation, and textual arrangements.
