Edmund Lloyd Epstein Books in Order

Edmund Lloyd Epstein was an American literary scholar and editor whose work focused chiefly on James Joyce and modernist literature. He taught at Queens College of the City University of New York, Southern Illinois University, and the City University of New York. Epstein founded and edited The James Joyce Review in 1957 and later published major studies of A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man and Finnegans Wake. Before entering academia, he worked in book publishing and selected William Golding's Lord of the Flies for American paperback reprinting, contributing an influential biographical and critical essay to the edition.
