Dot Hutchison writes young-adult and adult thriller fiction. Her debut novel, A Wounded Name, is a young-adult reimagining of Shakespeare's Hamlet, while The Butterfly Garden launched her adult crime-thriller career and The Collector series. She has worked at a Boy Scout camp, a craft store, a bookstore, and a Renaissance faire, and has a particular interest in mythology, history, storms, and theater.
