Donella H. Meadows Books in Order

Donella H. Meadows (1941–2001) was an American environmental scientist, educator, author, and journalist. She was a leading contributor to the World3 global model and co-authored The Limits to Growth, the influential 1972 study for the Club of Rome. Her subsequent work addressed global modeling, environmental education, sustainability indicators, ecological limits, and practical systems thinking. She also wrote the long-running Global Citizen newspaper column and founded the Sustainability Institute, now the Donella Meadows Project. Thinking in Systems: A Primer was published posthumously in 2008 from her completed manuscript and related materials, edited by Diana Wright.
