David Mazzucchelli is an American comics artist and writer. He became prominent through collaborations with Frank Miller on Daredevil: Born Again and Batman: Year One, then shifted toward independent and experimental comics. He self-published the anthology Rubber Blanket, co-created the graphic adaptation of Paul Auster's City of Glass with Paul Karasik, and wrote and drew the graphic novel Asterios Polyp.
