Catherine Miles Wallace is an American cultural historian, author, and theologian. She earned a PhD in English from the University of Michigan and taught English at Northwestern University before developing a writing career focused on literary theory, spirituality, Christian humanism, ethics, marriage, work, and religious fundamentalism. Her books include the scholarly study The Design of Biographia Literaria, the memoir Dance Lessons, the cultural critique Selling Ourselves Short, and the Confronting Fundamentalism series.
