Caroline Balderston Parry Books in Order

Caroline Balderston Parry (1945–2022) was a Canadian author, poet, musician, performer, folklorist, and religious educator. Born in Pennsylvania, she moved to Canada in the 1970s and wrote for children and adults. Her first book, Let's Celebrate: Canada's Special Days, became a widely used Canadian reference work and won major children's information-book awards. Her other notable works include Eleanora's Diary, a historical diary based on the journals of Canadian pioneer Eleanora Hallen; the children's poetry collection Zoomerang a Boomerang!; and The Heron Spirals, A Commonplace Book, a memoir incorporating diary entries, poetry, songs, spiritual reflections, and nature writing.
