Carl Hiaasen Books in Order

Carl Hiaasen is an American journalist, columnist, and author born and raised in Florida. He worked for the Miami Herald as an investigative reporter and columnist while developing a career as a novelist. His adult fiction combines crime, satire, environmental concerns, and dark humor, usually in vividly portrayed Florida settings. He also wrote novels for young readers, including Hoot, Flush, Scat, Chomp, Skink—No Surrender, Squirm, and Wrecker; nonfiction books; and collections of his Miami Herald columns. His first three novels were co-written with Bill Montalbano.
