Baek Se-hee Books in Order
Baek Se-hee was born in Seoul in 1990 and studied creative writing before working for five years at a publishing company. She became widely known for her therapy memoir I Want to Die but I Want to Eat Tteokbokki, which records conversations with a psychiatrist alongside personal reflections on persistent depressive disorder and anxiety. She published a sequel, several collaborative essay collections, a book about companion animals, and the novella Barcelona Will. She died in 2025.
