Arthur Miller was an American dramatist whose socially engaged plays examine moral responsibility, family, work, political repression, and the American dream. His major works include The Man Who Had All the Luck, All My Sons, Death of a Salesman, The Crucible, A View from the Bridge, After the Fall, The Price, The American Clock, The Ride Down Mt. Morgan, Broken Glass, Resurrection Blues, and Finishing the Picture. He also wrote novels, short fiction, reportage, memoirs, essays, screenplays, teleplays, and collaborative books with photographer Inge Morath.
