Adrian McKinty is a Northern Irish novelist born and raised in Carrickfergus, County Antrim. He studied philosophy at Oxford University, lived in New York, taught English in Colorado, and later moved to Melbourne before returning to the United States. His fiction often explores Northern Ireland, political violence, crime, identity, and displacement. He writes crime novels, thrillers, and young adult science fiction.
